Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened in mild soap and water; do not use petroleum-based products, abrasive compounds or solvents, as these will damage the polycarbonate shell and graphic finish.
Remove the interior liner and cheekpads before washing; hand wash in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before refitting.
Clean the face shield with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid dry paper towels or abrasive materials, which will scratch the surface and impair vision.
Replace the face shield if it develops deep scratches, crazing or cracks — a compromised shield reduces optical clarity and impact resistance.
Do not paint, drill or otherwise modify the helmet; structural alterations compromise safety performance and will void any applicable warranty.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, oil and chemical fumes, all of which degrade EPS liner and shell materials over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible; the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber and may be compromised internally.
