Wipe the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell and its finish.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before refitting — machine washing may damage the foam and fabric.
Clean the visor with a soft, damp cloth only; abrasive pads or harsh chemical sprays cause micro-scratches that impair vision, particularly in low light or oncoming headlights.
Replace a scratched, cracked or heavily worn visor promptly — a compromised visor is a safety risk, not a cosmetic issue.
