- Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soap diluted in warm water; rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
- Clean the face shield with lukewarm water only — avoid abrasive cloths, paper towels or solvent-based cleaners that will scratch or craze the lens.
- Remove the interior liner and cheek pads for hand or gentle machine washing; follow the care label on the padding and allow all pieces to air dry completely before refitting.
- Fit a Pinlock insert to the face shield following the manufacturer instructions to reduce fogging in cold or humid conditions.
- Do not apply petroleum-based products, fuel, thinners or harsh household chemicals to any part of the helmet or shield.
- Inspect the shell, EPS liner and retention system before each ride; do not ride with a helmet that shows cracks, dents or signs of deformation.
- Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact — internal EPS damage is not always visible from the outside.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme heat, ideally in its original bag or a breathable helmet bag.
