  • Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents or abrasive materials that can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
  • Wipe the visor with a clean, damp microfibre cloth only — dry or coarse cloths will scratch the lens surface and reduce optical clarity.
  • Replace a scratched or cloudy visor promptly, as impaired visibility is a safety risk at speed.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent; allow to air dry completely before reinserting — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
  • After any significant impact, retire the helmet regardless of whether external damage is visible; internal EPS foam can be compromised without showing outward signs.
  • Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system before each ride for signs of fraying, cracking or looseness, and do not ride with a damaged retention system.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, petrol fumes and chemical exposure, all of which degrade the shell and EPS foam over time.
  • Do not apply stickers, paint or aftermarket coatings to the shell, as these may react with the polycarbonate and compromise structural integrity.
