- Clean the outer shell using a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, harsh chemicals, or abrasive pads that can damage the shell or graphic finish.
- Clean the visor with warm water and mild soap applied with a soft cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as dust particles will scratch the surface.
- Remove the comfort liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent; allow all interior components to air dry completely before reinstalling.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even in the absence of visible external damage — the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber and cannot be relied upon after a strike.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical exposure, as UV and solvent exposure degrade polycarbonate over time.
- Inspect the retention strap and buckle for fraying or corrosion at regular intervals; replace if any degradation is found.
- If the visor is deeply scratched or crazes in any area, replace it to maintain unimpaired forward vision.
- Verify the visor locking mechanism seats correctly and does not rattle or flex before each ride.
