- Replace the filter element at the interval specified in your Honda owner's manual — do not extend beyond the manufacturer's recommended service interval.
- This is a disposable replacement element; it is not designed to be washed, cleaned or re-oiled — replace it when due.
- Inspect the airbox housing and sealing surfaces for cracks, debris or damage each time the filter is serviced.
- Ensure the airbox lid and all retaining clips or fasteners are fully secured after installation to prevent unfiltered air entering the engine.
- Do not run the engine without a filter installed, even briefly, as this can allow dust and debris to enter the intake.
- Store unused elements in a clean, dry location in the original packaging to prevent contamination before fitment.
