The Alpinestars Halo Drystar Jacket is a multi-season adventure touring jacket built around a technical outer shell that adapts to changing conditions. An asymmetric front construction with a very wide vent panel works together with a large opening vent panel on the back to move air through the jacket, and the removable sleeve shell exposes full mesh sleeves when the weather turns hot — without giving up impact protection.
A packable Drystar waterproof and breathable rain jacket is supplied and can be worn under the shell, over the shell, or on its own, so one jacket covers a wide range of riding. It stows in the mesh back pocket or the integrated pocket when not needed, keeping bulk down on long days.
Suited to adventure and touring riders who cover varied climates and want one jacket for the whole trip. The jacket is Tech-Air ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air 5 Airbag System (sold separately) for upper body protection. Colourway: dark grey / ice grey / black.

- Refit the left and right sleeve shells using the labels inside each sleeve so they return to the correct side.
- Remove the Nucleon Flex Pro armour and the Drystar rain jacket before cleaning the outer shell.
- Spot clean the outer shell with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent; avoid solvents, bleach, petrol and fabric softeners, which can damage the textile and laminate.
- Air dry the shell and the Drystar rain jacket away from direct sunlight, radiators and other heat sources; do not tumble dry or iron.
- Wipe armour with a damp cloth only and allow it to dry fully before refitting — never machine wash or heat dry protectors.
- Fold the Drystar rain jacket back into the integrated pocket or the mesh back pocket so it stays accessible when the weather turns.
- Zip the vent panels closed and fit the Drystar layer before riding in sustained rain; the mesh panels are designed to pass air, not block water.
- Check zips, fasteners and stitching regularly, keep zips free of grit and store the jacket on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place rather than compressed in a bag.
- Replace any armour or the jacket itself after a crash impact, as protective performance can be compromised even where damage is not visible.
- If fitting a Tech-Air 5 Airbag System, follow the airbag system's own instructions for insertion, sizing and charging.
