The Mitas H-03 Classic is a road tyre for classic and vintage motorcycles running 18-inch wheels. In the 2.75-18 size with a 48P rating, it suits lightweight classics, commuters and restoration projects where a period-correct look matters as much as everyday road manners.
It uses a bias-ply casing in tube-type (TT) construction, so an inner tube is required, and it is DOT marked for road use. Depending on your machine's specification, the same tyre can be fitted at the front or the rear.
Supplied as a tyre only — inner tube and rim tape are not included.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre fitter — correct bead seating and balancing are critical on a bias-ply tyre.
- This is a tube-type (TT) tyre: always fit a new inner tube and check the rim tape and rim band condition at the same time.
- Check the sidewall for any rotation arrow or front/rear fitment marking and follow it when mounting.
- Set cold inflation pressures to the figures in your motorcycle's owner's manual or on the swingarm/chainguard placard, and re-check them at least fortnightly with an accurate gauge.
- Ride gently for the first ride or two so the release agent scrubs off and the tread beds in — avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface has worn evenly.
- After the first ride, re-check pressures and have the fitter confirm the tube valve stem is still sitting square in the rim — a leaning stem means the tyre has crept on the rim.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones, bulges, perished sidewalls and uneven wear, and replace before the tread reaches the legal minimum depth for your state.
- Clean with mild soap and water only; keep petrol, brake cleaner, solvents and silicone tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and any oils or fuels.
- Replace the tyre after any puncture repair that falls outside your fitter's recommendation, and never exceed the load or speed limits marked on the sidewall.
