Fit the harness behind the fuel cap and check that the bag clears the bars, tank and your knees through full steering lock before riding.
Re-check the webbing and Duraflex buckles after the first ride and periodically thereafter, as straps can settle and loosen with vibration.
Close the zippers fully and seat the lid before setting off so the welded construction can do its job in rain and dust.
Route charging cables through the dedicated electronics pass-through rather than forcing them past the zipper, which can damage the teeth and the seal.
Clean with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol and harsh degreasers, which can attack the coated fabric.
Rinse mud and grit out of the zipper track after dusty or wet rides, then work the sliders a few times so they run freely.
Allow the bag to air dry fully, inside and out, before packing it away to prevent mildew and odours.
Store unrolled or loosely packed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, as prolonged UV exposure degrades coated fabrics and reflective trim.
Don't overstuff the bag past its 1.5 litre volume; excess strain on the zips and welded seams shortens their life.
Unzip the bag from the harness and take it with you when you leave the bike unattended.
