The GIVI 4100FZ is a model-specific set of Monorack arms for the Kawasaki Z1000SX / Ninja 1000, 2011 to 2019. The arms and adapter brackets bolt directly to the bike's subframe and provide the mounting base for a GIVI top case plate, so the case sits low and central rather than perched on an improvised carrier.

It suits riders who want to add genuine luggage capacity to a sports tourer without altering its lines — daily commuting with a helmet and laptop, or weekend touring with a larger case. The frame is finished in black powder coat and mounting hardware is supplied.

A top case plate is required and sold separately, along with the top case itself. Choose a MONOKEY plate for larger, more robust cases or a MONOLOCK plate for lighter, smaller-volume cases. Top cases, plates, pannier frames and other accessories shown in imagery are not included.

  • Model-specific fitment for Kawasaki Z1000SX / Ninja 1000, 2011-2019
  • Direct bolt-on application to the standard subframe - no cutting or drilling
  • Accepts MONOKEY M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A or M9B top case plates (sold separately)
  • Accepts MONOLOCK M5M or M6M top case plates (sold separately)
  • Set of adapter plates and brackets, supplied as a left and right arm assembly
  • Durable black powder-coated finish
  • Mounting hardware included

  • Fit using the GIVI instruction sheet supplied with the rack, following the specified bolt sequence and torque figures - do not substitute the supplied hardware with alternative bolts.
  • Check that the arms sit flush against the subframe mounting points before final tightening; forcing brackets into place can distort the frame and preload the fasteners.
  • Re-check all mounting bolts after the first ride with a loaded top case, then at regular service intervals and before any long trip - vibration is the most common cause of loosening.
  • Confirm the top case plate is correctly bolted to the arms and that the case locks fully onto the plate and cannot lift off before riding.
  • Observe the maximum load rating stated by GIVI for the top case and plate you fit, and pack heavier items low and forward in the case to limit the effect on handling.
  • Remove the top case when you don't need it; carrying a loaded case changes rear-end weight distribution, high-speed stability and crosswind behaviour.
  • Clean the powder-coated arms with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry them; avoid solvents, degreasers, abrasive pads and high-pressure washers aimed directly at the mounting points.
  • Inspect the finish periodically for stone chips or scratches and touch them up promptly, as bare steel at the mounts is where corrosion starts.
  • Keep the case's lock barrel and latch clean and lightly lubricated with a suitable lock lubricant; do not use heavy grease that attracts road grit.
  • On 2017-2019 models, do not attempt to run this rack alongside the original side-case holder - the two are not compatible.
