The Givi Z696R is a genuine replacement pair of side reflectors for the Givi E55N Maxia top case. The side reflectors are a wear item — they can be scuffed in a fall, damaged when the case is knocked or removed, or simply dull with age — and this kit lets you restore the case rather than replace it.

  • Fit only to a Givi E55N Maxia top case — reflector shapes differ between Givi case models and will not cross-fit.
  • Before fitting, remove the old reflectors and clean the mounting area thoroughly so the new parts seat flush and any residue or grit is removed.
  • Fit in accordance with the instructions supplied with the part, and allow the case to sit undisturbed and out of the weather before riding if an adhesive fixing is used.
  • Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Avoid solvents, petrol, alcohol-based cleaners, abrasive pads and cutting compounds, which will haze the reflective surface and reduce how well it works.
  • Do not aim a high-pressure washer at the reflectors or their edges — it can force water behind them and lift the fixing.
  • Check the reflectors periodically for security, lifting edges and cracking, particularly after washing the bike or removing and refitting the case.
  • Keep the reflective faces clean and free of mud, road film and wax build-up so they stay visible at night.
  • Replace cracked, heavily scuffed or faded reflectors rather than repairing them, as reflectivity is a road-visibility feature and may be required by your state's rules.
  • When the case is stored off the bike, keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to slow fading of the reflector material.
