The GIVI TN6409 are purpose-built engine crash guards designed to bolt directly onto the Triumph Tiger 800, Tiger 800XC and Tiger 800XR (model years 2011 to 2019). They are engineered to shield the engine casings and lower bodywork in the event of a tip-over or low-speed drop, helping to reduce costly damage to critical components.
As a GIVI TN-series fitment, these guards are model-specific — no cutting or fabrication required — making them a practical addition for riders who use their Tiger 800 for adventure touring, commuting, or extended travel where the risk of a stationary drop is a real consideration.

- Inspect all mounting bolts after the first ride following installation and re-torque as needed per the included installation instructions.
- Periodically check that all fasteners remain tight, particularly after off-road use or rough terrain.
- Inspect the guards visually after any tip-over or impact; deformed or cracked guards should be replaced before further use.
- Clean with mild soap and water; rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent moisture build-up at mounting points.
- Touch up any chips or scratches in the finish promptly to minimise the risk of corrosion at bare metal areas.
- Ensure the fitment year of your motorcycle (2011–2019) matches before installation — the TN6409 is not compatible with later Tiger 800 variants.
