The Fulbat FB16AL-A2 Gel is a sealed replacement motorcycle battery from Fulbat's gel range. It arrives factory-activated and ready to fit, so there is no acid to handle and no filling or initial preparation before it goes into the bike.
Gel (VRLA) construction means the battery is non-spillable and maintenance-free for its service life, with nothing to top up. It is intended for riders and powersports owners replacing a like-for-like FB16AL-A2 fitment who want a straightforward, no-fuss battery that holds up under demanding use.

- Fit the battery as supplied — it is sealed and factory-activated, so never attempt to open the case, add acid or top up electrolyte.
- Check the state of charge before installation and recharge if the battery or machine has been sitting for a while; fitting a partly discharged battery shortens its working life.
- Charge only with a charger that has a gel/AGM-compatible setting. Avoid unregulated, high-rate or "boost" chargers, which can damage sealed gel cells.
- When fitting, connect the positive terminal first and the negative last; when removing, disconnect the negative first.
- Keep the terminals clean, dry and firmly tightened, and do not over-torque the terminal bolts.
- Do not force the battery into the tray or strike the terminals — the case is sealed and damage to it cannot be repaired.
- For long lay-ups, remove the battery, store it in a cool, dry place off concrete, and keep it topped up with a suitable maintenance charger rather than leaving it flat.
- Wipe the case with a soft damp cloth only; avoid solvents, fuels and abrasive cleaners.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area and keep the battery away from naked flames and sparks.
- At end of life, return the battery to a battery recycling or collection point — do not place it in general waste.
