Replacement front fork tubes from Zodiac, sized for 39mm fork applications and measuring 23.00" in overall length — a -2" length compared with the standard tube, for riders building or restoring a lowered front end.

Suited to custom and cruiser builds where the original tubes are worn, pitted or being swapped for a shorter setup. Because fork tube length changes front ride height, geometry and travel, fitment should be matched to your bike and, ideally, carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician.

Please confirm your fork diameter and required tube length against your own machine before ordering.

  • Check your fork tube diameter and required length against the bike before fitting; a shorter tube alters ride height and front-end geometry.
  • Have fitment carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician, and torque all triple clamp and axle fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
  • Fit fresh fork seals, dust seals and fork oil when installing new tubes, and bleed the front brake if the calipers or lines were disturbed.
  • Inspect the tube surface for scratches, pitting or corrosion before assembly — surface damage will cut new seals and cause leaks.
  • After fitting, check front suspension travel and ensure the front guard, tyre and any fairing clear the frame and engine through full compression and full lock.
  • Clean tubes regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive pads, solvents and harsh degreasers that can mark the sliding surface.
  • Wipe the exposed tubes down after riding in wet, dusty or salty conditions to stop grit being drawn past the dust seals.
  • Re-check fastener torque after the first short ride, then inspect periodically for fork oil weeping around the seals.
  • Store spare tubes horizontally supported along their length, or upright, in a dry place to avoid bending and corrosion.
