The EVS SB05 Shoulder Support is a compression brace built for riders managing a previously injured shoulder. It wraps the joint in breathable air mesh and uses an X-Strap Stabilizer System to help hold everything in place while you ride, without the bulk of a full harness.

The low-profile, no-snag shape is designed to sit under a jersey or riding jacket, and the adjustable arm closure lets you dial in tension while keeping the underarm free of chafing. TPR gripper pull-tabs make it straightforward to pull on and position, so it goes on and comes off quickly at the track or trailhead.

This is a support and compression garment rather than impact armour — wear it alongside your usual protective gear.

  • Fit the support over the shoulder and use the TPR gripper pull-tabs to seat it correctly before fastening the adjustable arm closure.
  • Set the closure and X-strap snug enough to support the joint but not so tight that it restricts circulation or arm movement; re-check the tension after your first few minutes of riding.
  • Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly — sweat and dirt left in the mesh will shorten its life.
  • Do not use bleach, solvents or fabric softeners, as they degrade elastic and TPR components.
  • Air dry in the shade; keep it away from tumble dryers, heaters and direct sunlight, which can distort the elastic and grippers.
  • Rinse it out after dusty or particularly sweaty rides rather than leaving it damp in a gear bag.
  • Store flat and dry, and avoid leaving it compressed under heavy gear or sitting in a hot vehicle.
  • Inspect the straps, stitching and closure regularly and replace the support once the elastic stops recovering or the closure no longer holds.
  • Remember this is a compression and support garment, not impact protection — keep wearing your usual armour or roost deflector with it, and follow any medical advice if you are managing an existing shoulder injury.
