Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive pads that can damage the paint and shell.
Clean the visor with warm water and a microfibre cloth; never dry-wipe a dusty visor as this may scratch the surface.
Remove and hand-wash the inner liner and cheek pads (where removable) with mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before refitting.
Inspect the chin strap and fastener regularly for signs of wear, fraying or damage; replace if compromised.
After any significant impact, retire the helmet immediately even if no visible damage is apparent — internal EPS foam may be deformed.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals, ideally in a helmet bag.
Do not paint, apply adhesive stickers not approved by the manufacturer, or modify the shell or liner as this can compromise structural integrity.
