- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician; confirm the direction of rotation arrow on the sidewall matches the forward rolling direction before mounting.
- If fitting with a tube (TT use), use the correct tube size and inspect it for damage before installation.
- Bed in new tyres gradually over the first 100–200 km; avoid maximum lean angles, hard braking, and aggressive acceleration until the mould-release layer is fully scrubbed away.
- Check tyre pressure when cold before every ride; refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressures for your specific load and conditions.
- For off-road or unsealed surfaces, reduce pressure to the appropriate off-road setting and re-inflate to road pressures before returning to sealed roads.
- Inspect the tread depth, sidewall, and bead area regularly for cuts, cracking, embedded debris, or abnormal wear; replace the tyre before reaching the minimum tread depth indicators.
- Clean with mild soap and water only; avoid petroleum-based solvents, silicone dressings, or tyre shine products, as these can degrade the rubber compound.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally or hung vertically in a cool, dry, dark location, away from UV light, ozone-generating equipment (motors, welders), and direct heat sources.
