- Clean the mirror glass with a soft, lint-free cloth; avoid abrasive cloths or harsh chemical cleaners that may scratch the reflective surface.
- Wipe the housing and clamp with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly to prevent corrosion, especially after wet-weather riding.
- Periodically check and re-torque the clamp bolt to ensure the mirror remains firmly positioned on the handlebar — vibration can cause gradual loosening.
- Adjust mirror angle to your riding position before each ride; loosen the pivot hardware only enough to move the mirror, then re-tighten securely.
- Inspect the clamp for signs of cracking or fatigue at regular service intervals and replace the mirror if structural damage is found.
