A universal 12V two-wire electronic flasher relay from Whites Motorcycle Parts, in a square-bodied format. It is the part to fit when you have converted to LED turn signals and the original thermal flasher can no longer drive them correctly, or when the factory relay has simply burnt out or gone missing.
Because it is an electronic unit rather than a thermal one, it is not dependent on bulb current draw, so it also runs happily with standard filament indicators and with dual-filament setups. That makes it a straightforward replacement for riders mixing LED and stock globes, or working through a staged conversion.
Whites offers flasher relays across a range of voltages, body shapes and pin configurations, so check that your machine uses a two-wire connection before ordering this version.

- Confirm your machine uses a two-wire flasher connection and a 12V system before fitting; three-pin and other voltage applications require a different relay from the Whites range.
- Disconnect the battery before removing the original relay, and note the orientation of the existing plug so the replacement goes back the same way.
- Observe polarity when connecting — reversing the two wires will usually stop the unit flashing, so swap the connections and retest before assuming a fault.
- Mount the relay in its original rubber grommet or holder where possible; the grommet isolates it from engine and road vibration and helps hold it securely.
- Keep the relay away from direct water spray, exhaust heat and pressure-washer jets, and locate it under the seat, headlight shell or side cover as the factory did.
- After fitting, reconnect the battery and test left, right and hazard functions with the ignition on, checking that both front and rear indicators flash on each side.
- If the flash rate seems wrong or an indicator stays lit, check the globes, earths and connector pins first — an electronic relay is not affected by bulb wattage the way a thermal flasher is.
- Wipe the housing and terminals clean with a dry cloth if you disturb them during other work, and check the connector for corrosion or spread pins at general service intervals.
- Do not attempt to open, repair or seal the relay body; it is a sealed electronic unit and is replaced rather than serviced.
