- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using tubeless-compatible workshop equipment; verify the rim is in good condition and the bead seats fully before riding.
- Bed in the new tyre gradually over the first 100–150 km by avoiding aggressive lean angles, hard braking, and rapid acceleration until the mould-release compound wears off the tread surface.
- Always check cold inflation pressure before each ride and adjust to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressure for the load being carried — never rely on a pressure reading taken when the tyre is hot.
- Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, embedded objects, sidewall cracking, bulges, or uneven wear patterns; if any structural damage is found, replace the tyre immediately.
- Never exceed the rated load index of 72 (355 kg) or the speed rating of T (190 km/h); ensure the total wheel load including rider, pillion, and luggage remains within this limit.
- Replace the tyre when the tread depth reaches the moulded tread wear indicator (TWI) level; operating below minimum tread depth is both dangerous and illegal on Australian roads.
- When storing the motorcycle for extended periods, keep the tyre clean and shielded from direct sunlight, ozone sources (such as electric motors or fluorescent lighting), fuels, oils, and solvents, all of which accelerate rubber degradation.
