The Mitas E-07+ Enduro Trail+ is a rear tyre for adventure and dual-sport bikes that spend most of their life on sealed roads but still have to deal with gravel, dirt and mud. Mitas designs it around a 60% on-road / 40% off-road split, and it carries the M+S (Mud + Snow) marking.

Compared with the original E-07, the profile is more rounded for steadier turn-in and cornering stability, while the large chevron blocks push water, soil and mud clear of the contact patch on loose going. Mileage is the point of the pattern: it is aimed at long trips where stopping to change tyres part-way through simply isn't an option.

This listing is the standard (non-Dakar) version in 150/70B17 69H tubeless, which uses the Heavy Duty compound Mitas positions as the better all-rounder in the wet.

  • Designed for 60% sealed-road and 40% off-road adventure riding
  • M+S (Mud + Snow) marked
  • Large-block chevron tread disperses water, soil and mud in extreme conditions
  • Rounded profile for improved manoeuvrability and cornering stability over the E-07
  • Average rear lug depth of 11 mm
  • Heavy Duty compound (standard, non-Dakar) tuned for wet and dry road performance without sacrificing comfort or durability
  • Belted bias (B) construction, tubeless (TL) rear fitment
  • Long-mileage focus for touring where a mid-trip tyre change isn't practical
  • Developed, tried and tested with support from Mitas ambassador Chris Birch
  • One Mitas E-07+ Enduro Trail+ 150/70B17 69H TL rear tyre (sold individually)

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified technician, onto a rim of the correct size and type for tubeless use.
  • Observe any rotation-direction and fitting markings moulded into the sidewall — the chevron pattern is direction-specific.
  • Ride conservatively until the new tread has scuffed in; grip is reduced while the moulding release agents wear off the surface.
  • Check and set pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressures specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer for your load and speed.
  • If you drop pressures for off-road sections, stay within your bike manufacturer's guidance and re-inflate before returning to sealed roads and highway speeds — running a tubeless tyre too soft risks unseating the bead.
  • Stay within the load and speed limits of the 69H marking, and allow for extra load when touring fully laden.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones in the chevron blocks, bulges and uneven wear; replace at the tread wear indicators or your state's legal minimum depth, whichever comes first.
  • Keep petrol, oils, solvents and overspray from chain lube off the tyre; clean with mild soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Have any puncture assessed by a tyre professional rather than relying on a roadside plug as a permanent repair.
  • Store a spare tyre upright in a cool, dry, dark place, away from direct sunlight and ozone sources such as electric motors and battery chargers.
