The DriRider Phoenix Heated Glove is a battery-powered winter touring glove built for riders who keep going through the cold months. A goat leather outer is paired with a DRI-TEX waterproof liner and Cordura stretch panels through the fingers and wrist, so the glove stays weather-ready without feeling stiff on the controls.

Warmth comes from DriRider's Dri-heat system, with a flexible heating element routed so it doesn't restrict movement or grip. Three colour-coded temperature settings let you dial the heat up on frosty starts and wind it back as the day warms, with rechargeable lithium batteries delivering lasting heat for extended rides.

Suited to commuters, tourers and anyone riding through an Australian winter, with wrist and cuff adjustment straps to fine-tune the fit over or under a jacket sleeve.

  • Charge the batteries fully before the first ride, and recharge after each use so they are ready for the next cold start.
  • Select the heat setting with the cuff control and confirm it by the indicator colour: red for high (55°C), yellow for medium (45°C), green for low (38°C).
  • Use the lowest comfortable setting to extend run time; higher settings draw more power and shorten the 8-hour figure.
  • Fit the wrist and cuff straps snugly so the heating element sits close to the hand, and decide before you set off whether the cuff goes over or under your jacket sleeve.
  • Remove the batteries before cleaning, and never machine wash, tumble dry or dry clean the gloves.
  • Clean the leather by wiping with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then wipe off residue; avoid solvents, petrol and harsh detergents.
  • Air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts and open flame, as concentrated heat will shrink and crack the leather and may damage the wiring.
  • Treat the leather with a suitable leather conditioner from time to time to keep it supple, keeping conditioner away from the battery contacts.
  • Store flat or lightly shaped in a cool, dry place rather than crushed in a pocket or under other gear, so the heating element and wiring are not creased or kinked.
  • Over a long off-season, store the batteries partially charged and top them up periodically instead of leaving them flat.
  • Inspect the leads, connectors and battery pockets regularly; stop using the heating function and have the gloves assessed if you find damaged wiring, hot spots or a connector that no longer seats properly.

Excellent gloves. Although I have not used them yet, I can feel and see the excellent build quality of them. They are truly the best winter gloves I have ever had.
