Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell finish.
Remove and hand-wash the interior liner and cheek pads (if removable) in cool water with mild detergent; allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
Clean the visor with a soft microfibre cloth and warm water; never wipe a dry visor as dust particles will scratch the lens.
Inspect the visor locking mechanism and tear-off posts regularly to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly.
Check the chin strap and retention system before every ride; replace if frayed or if the buckle shows signs of wear.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils, and chemical fumes, which degrade EPS foam and shell integrity over time.
