  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild soapy water; never use petrol, acetone, or other solvent-based cleaners, as these will degrade the shell and graphic finish.
  • Wipe visor or face shield surfaces with a clean, damp microfibre cloth; avoid paper towels, which can cause fine scratching.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and chemical fumes — UV exposure and solvents accelerate foam and shell degradation over time.
  • Do not place the helmet on a motorbike mirror or handlebar end; a single fall from that height can compromise the EPS liner without visible external damage.
  • Inspect the retention system (chin strap, buckle, and strap webbing) before every ride and replace if fraying, cracking, or stiff operation is noticed.
  • Never use a helmet that has sustained an impact — even a drop onto a hard surface — as EPS liner damage is not visible to the naked eye; replace it immediately.
  • Replace the helmet at least every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if the foam, shell, or straps show signs of ageing or deterioration.
