The Fusport Dirt Pilot 2 (DP2) is an entry-level off-road boot built for riders who want genuine protection without stepping up to a premium price. It builds on the original Dirt Pilot with a reinforced, CE certified construction, adding a steel shank, improved abrasion resistance and better coverage through the lower leg.

Hard moulded TPU sits across the shin, toes and heel for impact protection, while thick internal padding and an air-mesh lining keep the fit supportive and help wick away sweat on long, hot days. A hard-wearing rubber sole gives grip and durability on the pegs and underfoot, and the tough gaiter helps keep dirt and moisture out of the boot.

Suited to motocross and enduro riding, this is a practical first set of proper off-road boots for new riders, and a dependable spare or trail boot for experienced ones. This listing is the black/white colourway in EU 43 / US 10 / UK 9.

Allow a short break-in period — wear the boots around home for a few sessions so the ankle and sole flex settle before a long ride.
Set the four snap-lock buckles from the bottom up so the foot is held back into the heel pocket, then close the Velcro strap over the top; recheck buckle tension before each ride.
Knock off loose mud once the boots have dried, then wash with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush; avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and harsh detergents on the PU microfibre and TPU.
Dry naturally in a well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes — forced heat can harden the microfibre and distort the moulded TPU.
Remove the liner insoles where possible and air the boots fully after wet or sweaty rides so the air-mesh interior dries out and odour does not build up.
Inspect the gaiter, stitching and sole edges regularly; a split gaiter lets dirt and water in and accelerates wear inside the boot.
Replace damaged buckles and straps promptly using the replacement parts sold separately, rather than riding with a strap that will not latch.
Store in a cool, dry place standing upright, out of direct sunlight, and avoid crushing the shin plate under other gear.
Replace the boots after a heavy impact or crash if the shell, sole or shank shows cracking, separation or permanent deformation — the CE protection cannot be relied on once damaged.
