The DENALI SoundBomb Split Dual-Tone Air Horn is an electro-pneumatic upgrade for riders who want to be heard in traffic. It is roughly four times louder than a typical motorcycle horn and about twice as loud as a standard car horn, so it cuts through road noise and gets the attention of drivers who haven't seen you.
Despite the volume, it keeps a low profile: the compact, blacked-out housing tucks away neatly on most bikes and blends in once fitted. A rugged moulded clamp mechanically joins the compressor to the acoustic unit, which helps the assembly stand up to the constant vibration of adventure, touring and commuting use. It is compatible with CANbus electrical systems and ships with the relay needed for a proper installation.

- Wire the horn through the supplied 12 volt, 30 amp relay — its 20 amp draw is well beyond what most factory horn circuits are designed to carry.
- Run the power feed from the battery with appropriate fusing, and use the original horn wire only as the relay trigger signal.
- Mount the horn to a solid frame or bracket point, clear of the exhaust, radiator, wheel spray and any steering or suspension movement.
- Check the mounting bolts and clamp after the first few rides and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen fasteners over time.
- Keep the electrical terminals clean and dry; a dielectric grease on the spade connectors helps prevent corrosion on bikes ridden in wet or salty conditions.
- Rinse mud and road grime off with low-pressure water and wipe dry — never aim a pressure washer directly at the compressor or its air outlet.
- Sound the horn briefly after washing or a deep water crossing to clear any water from the unit.
- Test the horn as part of your regular pre-ride check, and investigate any drop in volume or change in tone promptly.
- Avoid solvents, petrol or harsh degreasers on the black housing.
