The Denali SoundBomb Compact is a dual-tone 12V air horn that replaces the underwhelming factory horn fitted to most motorcycles. It produces 120 decibels at three feet — around four times louder than a standard motorcycle horn and twice as loud as a typical car horn — so you have a genuine chance of being noticed by distracted drivers.
Where it differs from a conventional air horn is the two-piece layout: the compressor and the acoustic unit are separate components joined by a 48-inch heat-resistant air hose. That lets you tuck each half into whatever space your bike actually has — behind body panels, under the tank, beside the radiator — without losing sound output. The blacked-out housing keeps it visually discreet once installed.
Suited to commuters, tourers and adventure riders who want a meaningful safety upgrade. It is CANbus compatible and ships with the 30-amp relay and mounting hardware needed for a tidy installation.

- Wire the horn through the supplied 12-volt, 30-amp relay — the 20-amp draw is well beyond what most factory horn circuits are designed to carry, so do not run it directly off the original horn wiring.
- Mount the compressor and acoustic unit clear of the exhaust and other high-heat components, and route the 48-inch air hose so it is not kinked, stretched, pinched by bodywork or chafing against sharp edges.
- Fit the acoustic unit with its horn opening angled downwards or forwards so water and road spray drain out rather than pooling inside.
- Keep the compressor's intake clear of direct spray from the front wheel; shield it behind bodywork or a panel where possible.
- Secure both halves firmly — vibration is the main enemy of a bracket-mounted horn. Recheck the fasteners and any zip-tie mounts after the first few rides and periodically thereafter.
- Sound the horn briefly every few weeks, especially over winter or during long storage, to keep the compressor free-moving.
- After riding in heavy rain, mud or dust, rinse mud and grit away from the acoustic unit opening and let it dry before storage; avoid pressure-washing directly into the horn mouth or the compressor.
- Clean the black housing with a damp cloth and mild soap only — avoid solvents, degreasers and abrasive cleaners.
- If output drops or the note sounds weak, check the air hose connections at both ends for a loose fit or leak, then check the earth and battery connections before assuming a fault.
- Inspect the wiring, terminals and relay connections during routine servicing and re-apply dielectric grease to exposed connectors if you ride in wet conditions.
