The Denali DL4 is a compact 4-LED auxiliary driving light built around a single-piece TIR optic and a robotically sealed housing. Its elliptical hybrid beam blends genuine long-range reach with useful spread, so you get distance without the tunnel vision of a pure spot. At 3,400 raw lumens from a 3-inch square pod, it is designed to work as a primary auxiliary driving light on small to medium capacity bikes, and it is light and compact enough to sit on the lower fender or crash bars of a larger adventure machine.

Denali's DataDim wiring means the DL4 is plug-and-play with the brand's harnesses, the DialDim controller and CANsmart controllers, so you can sync dimming to your factory high beam rather than running a single fixed intensity. DrySeal construction with an internally potted cable entry gives IP68 and IP69K sealing, and the powder-coated steel bracketry and UV-hardened polycarbonate lens are made to survive corrugations, washdowns and years of weather.

Supplied as a light pod with mounting hardware and pigtail. A Denali harness or lighting controller is required to complete the installation and is sold separately.

  • Mount the pod to a rigid point such as a crash bar, light bar or lower fender bracket using the supplied 4mm steel bracketry — avoid fairing panels or plastics that flex and amplify vibration.
  • The DL4 requires a Denali harness or lighting controller (sold separately) to operate; plug the 3-wire DT pigtail into DataDim-compatible wiring if you want dimming synced to your factory high beam.
  • Wire to a circuit that suits the load — 2.7A per pod at 12V, within a 9–32 VDC supply range — and route cabling away from steering stops, exhausts and suspension travel, leaving a service loop at the pod.
  • Aim the beam with the bike upright on level ground before riding at night, then re-check aim after any crash, drop or bracket adjustment.
  • When used on public roads, run the pod as an auxiliary high beam only and confirm your state or territory's rules on auxiliary driving lights before fitting.
  • Clean the lens with warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use solvents, fuel, degreasers or abrasive pads on the UV-hardened polycarbonate lens.
  • The pod is IP68 and IP69K sealed, so pressure washing and water crossings are fine, but avoid directing a high-pressure jet straight at the connector join and make sure connectors are fully seated and latched.
  • Periodically check bracket and mounting bolts for tightness, especially after corrugated or off-road riding, and inspect the pigtail for chafe points.
  • The housing is a sealed, potted assembly — do not attempt to open it, replace the lens or service the LEDs internally.
  • If output flickers or the light stops dimming correctly, check the DataDim wire and connector pins first rather than the pod itself.
