A replacement kill switch from CPR, made to suit Honda CRF250 and CRF450 models. It restores the stop-switch function on bikes where the original has been damaged, worn out or lost, and is equally useful as a spare in the workshop or race toolbox.

- Confirm the switch suits your exact CRF model and year before fitting; compare it against the original part and its connector.
- Disconnect the battery (where fitted) before removing the old switch to avoid shorts while working on the loom.
- Route the wiring along the existing loom path and secure it clear of the fork crowns, throttle and cables so it cannot be stretched or pinched at full lock.
- Seat the connector fully and make sure any wiring joins are properly insulated and weather-protected.
- Test the switch before riding: start the engine and confirm it stops promptly when the switch is pressed.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not aim a pressure washer directly at the switch or its connector.
- After wet or muddy rides, let the switch and connector dry, and check for grit build-up around the button.
- Inspect the wiring and mounting periodically for chafing, corrosion or loose fasteners, and re-check after any crash.
- Avoid solvents, degreasers and fuel contact on the switch body and wiring insulation.
