The Airoh Commander 2 is the next generation of Airoh's best-selling adventure helmet, built here in a Full Carbon 6K shell with a gloss finish. It is made for riders who mix highway kilometres with dirt roads and trails, and who want one helmet that can be reconfigured to suit the ride rather than owning three.
Airoh has reworked the platform around three shell sizes for a closer fit across the size range, and developed the ventilation in the wind tunnel. The Extra Wide Vision visor opens up the field of view and carries the A3S automatic antifog system plus a lock, while the ASN and AEFR systems add to rider safety. A double D-ring retention system and ECE 22.06 approval round out the package.
Inside, Coolmax technical textiles with 2dry Microsense and Sanitized treatments keep things comfortable on long days, and the whole liner comes out for washing. A Pinlock 120 XLT insert and a stop wind deflector are supplied in the box.

- Measure the circumference of your head about 2 cm above the eyebrows and compare it against Airoh's size chart before ordering; a new helmet should feel firm without pressure points.
- Check the double D-ring is threaded correctly and pulled snug every ride — the strap should sit against the jaw with no slack.
- Clean the shell and internal padding with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap only. Do not use petrol, solvents, ammonia-based cleaners or abrasive products, as these can damage the carbon shell, the visor coatings and the EPS liner.
- Soften dried insects or road grime by laying a damp cloth over the visor for a few minutes rather than scrubbing, which will scratch the scratch-resistant coating.
- Handle the Pinlock 120 XLT insert by its edges and clean it with a damp cloth and water only — the silicone bead and antifog side are easily marked. Refit it so the bead seats evenly against the visor.
- Remove the Coolmax® liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Air-dry them away from direct sunlight, heaters and dryers, and refit only once completely dry.
- Refit the stop wind deflector for cold or wet riding to reduce draughts and turbulence at the chin bar; remove it for hot-weather airflow.
- Keep the vents clear of dust and mud so the wind-tunnel-developed ventilation works as intended.
- If the helmet gets wet, let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated spot — never with a hairdryer or in front of a heater.
- Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuel and solvent vapours. Do not hang it on a mirror or handlebar.
- Replace the helmet after any impact, even if there is no visible damage, and replace the visor if it becomes badly scratched or hazed.
- Do not apply stickers, paint or adhesives to the shell, and do not modify the shell or EPS to fit accessories.
