The SW-Motech centrestand (part number HPS.22.141.10001/B) is a model-specific stand designed for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S built from 2010 to 2014. Finished in black, it lifts the bike upright and level so it can be parked, serviced or stored without relying on the side stand.

It suits owners who do their own maintenance — chain cleaning and adjustment, rear wheel removal, tyre checks and general workshop tasks all become far easier with the bike held square. It is equally useful for touring riders who want a stable parking option on softer or uneven ground.

Fitment is specific to the listed model and year range. Please confirm your bike's model year before ordering.

FitmentDucati Multistrada 1200 / Multistrada 1200 S (2010-2014)
  • Fit the stand using the manufacturer's supplied instructions and torque values; if you are unsure, have it installed by a qualified motorcycle technician.
  • After fitting, re-check all fasteners following the first ride, then include them in your regular service inspections.
  • Always deploy the stand on firm, level ground — soft bitumen, gravel or grass can allow the feet to sink and the bike to topple.
  • Check that the stand is fully retracted and the return spring is holding it up before riding; a partly deployed stand can ground out in corners.
  • Keep the pivot points clean and apply a light smear of grease periodically so the stand swings freely and does not squeak.
  • Inspect the return spring and its anchor points regularly for stretching, corrosion or damage, and replace the spring if it no longer snaps the stand firmly home.
  • Wash with mild soapy water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly; avoid aiming high-pressure washers directly at the pivots, which can force out grease and drive in water.
  • Do not use harsh solvents or abrasive pads on the black finish, and touch up any chips or scratches promptly to prevent corrosion — road salt and coastal air are particularly harsh.
  • When raising the bike, use the foot lever and the rear grab area rather than lifting by bodywork or luggage racks.
  • Do not use the centrestand as a lifting point for major work such as engine removal, and take care when the bike is loaded with luggage as the balance point changes.
