The DNA R-H10S18-0R is a high performance, direct OEM-replacement air filter for the Honda CBR1000RR (2017–2019), including the SP and SP2, and the CB1000 Hornet SP (2025). It sits in the standard airbox in place of the original paper element, so fitting is a straight swap.

Rather than a disposable paper element, DNA uses multilayer cotton gauze that is impregnated with filter oil. The media is designed to be washed and re-oiled at service intervals and re-used, which is why DNA rates these filters to last the life of the bike.

Fits the standard airbox as a straight replacement for the OEM paper element — confirm your bike's OEM part number (17210MKFD40 / 17210MKFK40) before fitting.
Seat the EVA foam seal squarely in the airbox and make sure the lid closes evenly; a filter that is not sealed correctly lets unfiltered air past.
This is a washable, re-usable filter — clean and re-oil it rather than replacing it, using a cleaner and filter oil made for cotton gauze filters.
Do not clean with petrol, solvents, strong degreasers, a pressure washer or compressed air, and do not scrub the gauze — any of these can damage the media.
After washing, let the filter air dry completely at room temperature before re-oiling; do not use heat guns, ovens or naked flame to speed it up.
Re-oil evenly and sparingly. Over-oiling can contaminate the intake and, on fuel-injected bikes, foul the airflow sensor.
Never run the filter dry or unoiled — the oil is what captures the finest particles.
Inspect it at each scheduled service, and more often if you ride in dust, sand or heavy rain.
Handle the pleats by the frame; avoid crushing or folding the element during removal and refitting.
Store a spare or cleaned filter flat in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, fuel and solvents.
