- Check tyre pressure before every ride; refer to your motorcycle's owner manual for the recommended pressure for this tyre size and load.
- Inspect the tyre for cuts, embedded stones, or sidewall damage after each off-road session and remove any debris lodged in the tread.
- Do not exceed the rated load index of 71 (345 kg) or the speed rating of N (140 km/h).
- Allow a brief break-in period of approximately 50–100 km at moderate speeds and lean angles before pushing the tyre to its limits, allowing the mould-release compound to wear off.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lighting), and solvents.
- Avoid prolonged contact with petroleum-based products, chain lubricant, or brake fluid — clean any contamination immediately with a mild soap and water solution.
- Replace the tyre if the tread depth reaches the wear indicator or if structural damage such as cracking, bulging, or cord exposure is found.
- Fit using tyre levers appropriate for off-road tyres and a new valve stem; have mounting performed by a trained tyre technician if in doubt.
