- Do not touch the glass envelope with bare hands — skin oils create hot spots that can cause premature bulb failure; handle by the base only.
- Turn off the ignition and allow the existing bulb to cool completely before removing it.
- Verify your motorcycle or scooter uses a 12V electrical system and a PX15D base before fitting.
- Disconnect the headlight connector before removing the old bulb to avoid accidental short circuits.
