- Check tyre pressure when cold before every ride; refer to your motorcycle owner's manual for the correct front pressure for this size and load.
- Allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km of varied riding to fully seat the tyre and achieve optimal grip — avoid aggressive cornering or hard braking during this period.
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, cracks, embedded debris, or abnormal wear that could indicate alignment or suspension issues.
- Replace the tyre when the tread reaches the tread wear indicator (TWI) markers moulded into the grooves — do not continue riding on a worn tyre.
- Never mix tyre types (bias-ply and radial) on the same motorcycle; if replacing only the front, confirm the rear is also a bias-ply construction compatible with your bike.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a stack, or vertically on a tyre rack, in a cool, dark, dry location away from ozone sources such as electric motors, welding equipment, and direct sunlight.
- Avoid contact with fuels, oils, and cleaning solvents on the tyre; clean with mild soap and water only.
- Have tyre fitment, balancing, and inflation performed by a qualified tyre fitter using appropriate tubeless-rated equipment.
