The Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 is a trail off-road tyre built for adventure bikes that spend real time away from the bitumen. This is the front fitment in 90/90-21 M/C 54Q tubeless, the classic 21-inch front size used across most large-capacity adventure and dual-sport machines.
Bridgestone developed the AX41 by combining its Battlax road tyre know-how with the block layout expertise behind the Battlecross off-road range. The result is a pattern with deliberate block design and positioning aimed at off-road grip without giving up the durability and stability needed for the transport sections in between.
It suits riders who want genuine off-road capability from an adventure bike and who value tread life on long trips. Tyres stamped "USE TUBE ON TUBE TYPE RIM" on the sidewall may be run with a suitable tube on tube-type rims.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — bead seating on a 21-inch front requires the correct machine and lubricant.
- Check the sidewall for the rotation arrow and fit the tyre so it turns in the correct direction for the front wheel.
- This is a tubeless (TL) tyre; only tyres stamped "USE TUBE ON TUBE TYPE RIM" on the sidewall may be run with an appropriate tube on a tube-type rim.
- If a tube is used, fit a new tube of the correct size and replace the rim band or tape as needed.
- Scrub the tyre in gently over the first ride, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and full lean angles until the release agent has worn off the tread surface.
- Set cold inflation pressures to the motorcycle manufacturer's recommendation for your bike and load, and check them regularly — pressures drop over time and low pressure accelerates block tearing off-road.
- If you drop pressures for sand or rocky terrain, return to the recommended road pressures before riding sealed sections at highway speed.
- Inspect the tread blocks, sidewalls and bead area for cuts, tearing, embedded stones and punctures after off-road rides.
- Replace the tyre once it reaches the tread wear indicators, or sooner if the blocks are badly torn, chunked or damaged.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, electric motors, fuels and solvents.
- Keep petrol, oil, brake fluid and chain lube off the tread and sidewalls; clean with mild soap and water only.
