The Brembo PS11B is a rear brake master cylinder finished in gold, supplied with a side fluid outlet and 40 mm fixing hole centres.   • Have the master cylinder fitted and bled by a qualified motorcycle technician; brakes are a safety-critical system.
  • Before fitting, check the 40 mm fixing hole spacing, side outlet position and pushrod/linkage arrangement against your motorcycle.
  • Use only the brake fluid type and specification called for by your motorcycle manufacturer, and use fluid from a freshly opened container.
  • Tighten all mounting and hydraulic fittings to your motorcycle manufacturer's specified torque figures — do not overtighten banjo bolts or fluid unions.
  • Bleed the system fully after fitting and confirm a firm pedal with no sponginess before riding; road test at low speed in a safe area first.
  • Brake fluid damages paint, plastics and anodised finishes — wipe any spills off immediately and rinse the area with water.
  • Check regularly for fluid weeps around the outlet, hose union and pushrod seal, and inspect the reservoir hose and fluid level at each service.
  • Replace brake fluid at the interval specified in your motorcycle's service schedule, as it absorbs moisture over time.
  • Clean the body with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent only; avoid solvents, degreasers and abrasive polishes that can mark the gold finish.
  • Store unfitted units in a clean, dry place with the ports capped to keep dirt and moisture out of the bore.
