The Alpinestars Bogotá Pro Drystar Jacket is an all-season adventure and touring jacket built around a three-layer liner-to-drop system, so one jacket can be configured for hot, wet or cold riding without swapping gear. The Drystar membrane liner delivers waterproof, breathable protection and can be worn either under the outer shell or over the top of it, depending on the conditions you are riding in.

It suits adventure, touring and commuting riders who cover long distances in changeable Australian weather. Extensive chest, back and arm ventilation, one-handed direct vents, and a DWR-treated outer shell keep airflow and water management under control, while Level 2 CE Nucleon Flex Pro shoulder and elbow armour and an AA-class EN 17092 rating handle the protection side.

The jacket is also Tech-Air Ready, accepting the Tech-Air 5 or Tech-Air 3 airbag system, and is constructed from GRS certified recycled Nylon 6. This is the grey with grey and fluro yellow colourway.

  • Configure the jacket to the conditions using the liner-to-drop system: run the outer shell alone in hot, dry weather, add the Drystar liner for rain, and add the thermal liner for cold rides.
  • In sustained rain, wear the Drystar liner over the outer shell to keep water out of the shell fabric; wear it under the shell for everyday versatility.
  • Open the chest and arm direct vents (they operate one-handed) before you get warm, and close them before entering rain so water doesn't enter through the mesh panels.
  • Remove the shoulder and elbow armour, both liners and any back or chest inserts before washing, and follow the care label sewn into the garment.
  • Avoid bleach, fabric softener, solvents and dry cleaning, as these can damage the DWR treatment and the Drystar membrane.
  • Air dry the shell and liners away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight; do not iron over armour pockets, reflective detailing or laminated panels.
  • Reapply a textile-safe durable water repellent treatment when water stops beading on the outer shell surface, as DWR performance drops with wear and dirt.
  • Check armour is seated correctly in its pockets, and that all liner zips and connectors are fully fastened before each ride.
  • If fitting a Tech-Air 5 or Tech-Air 3 airbag system, install it according to the airbag system's own instructions and confirm the fit still allows free arm movement.
  • Store clean and completely dry on a wide hanger in a cool, ventilated place; do not store compressed while damp.
  • After any crash, inspect the shell, seams and armour and replace damaged components before riding again.
