The Alpinestars Bogotá Drystar Pants are multi-season adventure and touring pants built around a technical laminated Drystar® waterproof liner, so you can keep riding when the weather turns. A durable water repellent finish on the outer shell helps rain bead and run off rather than soak in, while large thigh vents let you dump heat quickly when the sun comes back out.

The shell pairs lightweight ripstop with 450D coated fabric and 600D reinforcements in high-wear areas, and the whole garment is CE certified to EN 17092 AA class. Impact protection comes fitted as standard with Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro knee armour and Bio-Flex hip armour, and stretch panels through the legs and seat keep the tailored cut comfortable in the riding position.

Suited to adventure, dual-sport and touring riders who want one pair of pants for changeable Australian conditions. Supplied in the gray and fluo yellow colourway with reflective detailing on the lower leg for extra presence in traffic and low light. Sized to the European (EU) chart.

  • Remove the knee and hip armour and detach the Drystar® and thermal liners before washing, then refit them before riding.
  • Wash the outer shell separately using a mild technical-fabric detergent and follow the instructions on the garment's care label.
  • Do not use bleach, fabric softener, stain removers or dry-cleaning solvents; these can damage the coatings and the laminated membrane.
  • Air dry the shell and liners fully away from direct sunlight, radiators and other direct heat, and do not iron.
  • Reapply a proprietary DWR spray or wash-in treatment when water stops beading on the outer fabric, particularly after repeated washes.
  • Rinse off mud, road salt, insects and fuel splashes promptly, as they degrade the fabric and the water-repellent finish.
  • Brush grit out of the vent and closure zips and run them gently; a dry zip lubricant keeps them working smoothly.
  • Switch the Drystar® liner between under-shell and over-shell wear to suit the conditions, and drop the thermal liner as temperatures rise.
  • Check before each ride that the knee armour sits over the knee and the hip armour is seated in its pocket; adjust the waist and calf straps for a snug fit so the protectors stay in place.
  • Store fully dry on a wide hanger in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place rather than compressed in a pannier or bag.
  • Inspect stitching, seams, closures and armour after any crash or impact, and replace damaged protectors before riding again.
