The Bolt Motorcycle Hardware Oil Change Kit brings together the small sealing parts that should be renewed every time you drain the oil on a Yamaha YZF or WRF, so you're not hunting down individual O-rings and crush washers on service day.
It suits home mechanics and workshops who service their own Yamaha and want the right seals on the shelf before the sump plug comes out. The kit covers the O-rings and crush washers only — engine oil and an oil filter are bought separately. Check the part against your model and year before ordering.

- Fit new crush washers at every oil change — they deform to seal and should not be reused.
- Renew the O-rings whenever the oil filter cover or related covers are removed; discard any that are flattened, nicked or hardened.
- Wipe sealing faces and plug threads clean of old oil, grit and gasket residue before assembly.
- Lightly smear O-rings with clean engine oil before fitting so they seat without twisting or pinching.
- Warm the engine briefly before draining so the oil flows freely, and take care — oil and engine parts will be hot.
- Tighten drain plugs and filter cover bolts to the torque figures in your Yamaha service manual; overtightening will distort the washer and damage the thread.
- Refill with the oil grade and quantity specified for your model, run the engine, then check for leaks and recheck the oil level.
- Store spare seals in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuels and solvents, as rubber degrades over time.
