These Ariete replacement hand grips are engineered specifically for BMW motorcycles equipped with the factory heated grip control system from 2013 onwards. The open-end, 125mm design with a consistent 26mm inner bore on both sides ensures a precise fit with the OEM heated control unit, restoring original feel without compromising the factory heating functionality.

- Before removal, fully disconnect the heated grip element and any associated wiring from the control unit to avoid damaging the electronics.
- When fitting, align the grip so the open end clears all bar-end hardware and heated grip wiring exits are unobstructed.
- If using grip adhesive or safety wire to secure the grips, allow full cure time before operating the throttle.
- Route and secure the heated grip wiring during reinstallation to prevent chafing against the handlebar, clamps or controls.
- Clean grips with mild soap and water on a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents or harsh degreasers that can degrade rubber compound.
- Allow grips to dry fully before riding.
- Inspect grips regularly for cracking, surface tears or rotational slippage — replace immediately if deterioration is found, as grip failure is a safety risk.
- Store spare grips flat in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lighting) to prevent premature rubber degradation.
