The Arai VAS-V Max Vision Mirror Visor in Red is a genuine Arai replacement visor for helmets using the VAS-V shield system, where the pivot is set lower and further back to keep the shell shape as smooth and uninterrupted as possible.
The Max Vision shape gives a wider and taller aperture than Arai's earlier shields, and the visor is Pinlock ready for riders who run an anti-fog insert. The red mirror finish is a tinted coating, so it suits bright daytime riding and track days rather than night use.

- Clean with warm water and a microfibre towel only.
- Never wipe the coated surface, as rubbing damages the mirror coating.
- Do not use petrol, thinner, benzene, other solvents or spray-on cleaners.
- Soften insects and road grime by soaking with warm water rather than scrubbing them off dry.
- Remove and refit the visor using the VAS-V procedure in your helmet's owner's manual, and check the side holders are fully latched before riding.
- If you run a Pinlock insert, fit it to the inner surface and avoid touching the anti-fog coating with bare fingers.
- Store the visor flat and protected, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and anything that can scratch it.
- Replace the visor if it becomes scratched, hazed or crazed, as this worsens glare at night and in low sun.
- This is a tinted mirror visor intended for daylight use; carry or fit a clear visor for night riding and check your state's road rules on visor tint.
