The RX-7V EVO is Arai's flagship full-face helmet, handmade in Japan by a three-generation family company of riders. Built to the latest ECE R22.06 safety standard, it combines Arai's signature round, smooth shell geometry — designed to deflect and redirect impact forces — with race-derived aerodynamics refined in the wind tunnel.

The shell is constructed from Arai's PB-SNC2 material, a Peripherally Belted Structural Net Composite drawn from Formula 1 technology, and is offered across five shell sizes to cover seven head sizes from XS to 3XL. Every unit passes a five-stage quality inspection before leaving the factory. The Frost Black finish is a refined matte colourway suited to both circuit riding and everyday road use.

Supplied as standard with a Pinlock 120 anti-fog insert and the VAS Max Vision visor, the RX-7V EVO delivers genuine all-condition versatility. Its fully removable, washable antimicrobial interior and modular fit system make it one of the most practical premium helmets on the Australian market.

5-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Remove the interior liner, cheek pads, and neckroll before washing; hand-wash each component in warm water with mild detergent and allow them to air-dry fully before refitting.
  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; do not use petroleum-based cleaners, paint thinners, acetone, or abrasive compounds, as these can degrade the PB-SNC2 shell.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth; avoid dry wiping or paper towels, which can cause fine surface scratches.
  • To remove the visor using the Variable Axis System (VAS), press both VAS release buttons simultaneously and pivot the visor fully upward until it detaches; reverse the process to reinstall.
  • Fit the included Pinlock 120 insert by aligning it over the two mounting pins on the inner visor face and pressing it firmly into place; replace the insert when anti-fog performance noticeably degrades.
  • Adjust the 5-position rear spoiler to suit your riding style and speed; test different positions to minimise buffeting, lift, or wind noise.
  • Before each ride, verify that the Double D-ring chin strap is threaded correctly through both rings and that the retaining loop secures the free strap end.
  • Locate the red Emergency Quick Release System (ERS) tabs on both cheek pads and inform your riding group of their position in the event of an emergency.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, solvents, and paint fumes, which can degrade both shell and liner materials over time.
  • Arai recommends retiring the helmet after any significant impact, or after 5 years from the date of first use, whichever occurs first.
