Replacement cheek padding for the Arai Quantic road helmet, supplied in the 25mm thickness. It's a genuine Arai part, so it seats in the helmet the same way the original padding does.
Two reasons riders buy these: to refresh padding that has compressed and softened after seasons of use, or to change thickness and fine-tune how firmly the helmet holds the cheeks. Choosing a different thickness to the pads currently in your helmet is the simplest way to adjust fit without changing helmet size.
Check the thickness marked on your existing cheek pads before ordering so you know whether 25mm will make the fit tighter or looser than what you have now.

- Confirm the thickness stamped or labelled on your current cheek pads first — fitting 25mm pads will tighten the fit if your existing pads are thinner, and loosen it if they are thicker.
- Remove the old padding gently by releasing the fasteners rather than pulling on the fabric, and note how the chin strap passes through the pad before you take it out.
- When refitting, make sure the chin strap runs through the cheek pad correctly and is not twisted or trapped, and press the pad fully home so every fastener is engaged.
- A correctly fitted cheek pad should hold the cheeks firmly without pressure points; expect a small amount of settling over the first few rides as the padding conforms to your face.
- Hand wash in lukewarm water with a small amount of mild soap, rinse thoroughly and squeeze — do not wring — to remove excess water.
- Air dry in the shade at room temperature. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron, or dry near a heater, in a hot car or in direct sunlight, as heat can shrink or distort the padding.
- Avoid petrol, solvents, bleach and other harsh cleaners, which can degrade the padding and its adhesives.
- After riding in rain, remove the padding and let it dry fully before storing the helmet, and store the helmet in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Replace the padding again once it has compressed to the point where the helmet feels loose or moves on your head, as fit is part of how the helmet protects you.
- Fit these pads only to the Arai Quantic — padding from other helmet models is not interchangeable.
