Check the care label sewn into the garment before washing — follow the label instructions exactly, as textile pants with laminated membranes can be damaged by incorrect wash temperatures or spin speeds.
Machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle using a technical garment cleaner or mild, non-biological detergent; avoid fabric softeners and bleach, which can degrade the Drystar membrane.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to air-dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources; high heat can delaminate waterproof membranes.
Once dry, reactivate the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish by tumbling on low heat for 10–15 minutes or by applying a compatible DWR spray treatment.
Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry location; avoid compressing the garment for extended periods, which can crease or damage the membrane.
Inspect zip sliders, hook-and-bar closures, and Velcro cuffs regularly; lubricate zips with a wax-based zip lubricant if they become stiff.
Remove armour inserts before washing and refit them correctly afterwards, ensuring they sit centred in their pockets over the knee and hip zones.
Do not dry-clean and do not iron directly over any coated or laminated sections of the garment.
