- Rinse loose debris from the visor surface with warm water before wiping to avoid scratching the iridium coating.
- Clean with warm water and a small amount of mild soap, then pat dry with a clean microfibre cloth — never rub a dry visor.
- Do not use solvents, petrol, glass cleaners, or abrasive cloths, as these will damage the mirror coating.
- Store the visor in a soft pouch or helmet bag when not in use to prevent surface scratches.
- Inspect regularly for cracks, chips, or deep scratches; replace the visor if any structural damage is present, as integrity may be compromised.
- To remove or fit, use the MPLK quick-release tabs on both sides of the K3 helmet in accordance with the helmet manufacturer's instructions — do not force the mechanism.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during storage, which can degrade coatings over time.
