The AGV K6 S is a premium full-face helmet built for sport and road riders seeking a lightweight, well-ventilated lid that meets the current ECE 22.06 homologation standard. A carbon composite shell keeps the overall mass low while maintaining the structural rigidity expected from a race-lineage design.

- Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaning products as these can degrade the shell and shell finish.
- Wipe the visor with a soft, damp cloth; avoid dry or abrasive wiping to prevent micro-scratches that reduce optical clarity.
- Remove interior cheek pads and comfort liner, hand-wash with a mild detergent, and allow all components to air dry completely before refitting — do not use a tumble dryer.
- Fit a Pinlock insert to the visor in cold or humid riding conditions to prevent fogging; ensure the insert is seated evenly in the visor pins.
- Store the helmet in its protective bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, paint fumes, and extreme temperature fluctuations.
- Inspect the shell, visor, chin strap, retention buckle, and interior liner before each use for signs of wear, cracking, or damage.
- Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — EPS liner compression is not reversible and the helmet's protective capacity is reduced after a crash.
- As a general guideline, retire the helmet after five years of regular use, or earlier if any structural or comfort components show deterioration.
