Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water on a soft cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the shell finish and visor coating.
Wipe the visor with a soft, damp microfibre cloth; avoid dry cloths which can introduce fine scratches into the anti-scratch coating.
Remove the comfort liner and cheek pads before washing them; these are designed to be detached without tools and can be hand- or machine-washed on a gentle, cool cycle — check the care label on each pad.
Use the quick-release mechanism to remove the visor for thorough cleaning or replacement; ensure it clicks firmly back into its locked position before riding.
