The AGV K1 S Soleluna 2017 is a full-face road helmet wearing a graphic inspired by Valentino Rossi's iconic Mugello 2017 livery — the sun-and-moon design that became one of MotoGP's most recognisable helmet schemes. It is built on AGV's K1 S platform, which brings the shell up to current ECE 22.06 homologation standards.
Designed for everyday road riding and weekend sport use, the K1 S targets riders who want a proven thermoplastic shell, practical ventilation, and a removable washable interior without stepping up to a premium composite price point. The Soleluna 2017 graphic makes it a collector piece for Rossi fans as much as a functional riding helmet.

- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or petrol, as these can degrade the shell and graphics.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth; avoid dry-wiping a dirty visor, which can cause scratches.
- Remove the interior comfort liner before washing; hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry fully before refitting.
- Operate visor vents (if present) by hand only — do not force them if stiff; a small amount of clear silicone lubricant on pivot points can free a sticking mechanism.
- Inspect the visor for scratches or crazing that reduce optical clarity and replace if vision is compromised.
- After any significant impact — even one that appears minor — retire the helmet and do not continue to use it; damage to EPS liner is not always visible externally.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and extreme heat; use a helmet bag to protect the shell and visor from dust and pressure marks.
- Avoid placing objects on top of the helmet during storage or transit, as localised pressure can deform the EPS liner.
