Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or petrol, as these can degrade the shell and graphics.
Clean the visor with a soft, damp microfibre cloth; avoid dry paper towels or abrasive materials that can cause fine scratches.
Remove the interior comfort liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent; follow any care labels sewn into the lining.
Allow all components to air-dry fully and away from direct heat or sunlight before reassembling the helmet.
Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system regularly for fraying, corrosion or any signs of wear, and replace if compromised.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even one where external damage is not visible — as the internal EPS liner may be compromised.
Store the helmet in its carry bag or a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour and chemical fumes.
Do not apply paint, stickers with solvent-based adhesives, or any aftermarket coatings to the shell without confirming compatibility with the manufacturer, as these can weaken the structure.
